We plan ahead to optimize outcomes: weddings, vacations, and job interviews. Why wouldn’t we plan to optimize our health before pregnancy? Don’t wait until you’re nauseous and exhausted to realize that you need a strategy to eat better, sleep more, and stress less. Pregnancy can be an immense drain on the body, especially a body that starts stressed, undernourished, underslept, and exposed to a high level of environmental toxins. Let’s control what we can control and eliminate some of these lifestyle factors that might hold you back from feeling your best self!  Let’s do the work in advance!  

This program is appropriate for anyone who is on a fertility journey, but it’s most useful if we have at least 3-6 months before you want conception to occur. If you’re a year or more out and just starting to talk about pregnancy timing, even better!  Every single one of the changes we make together will benefit your health, the health of your partner, and the health of this child and any other children in your house. 

I will be with you every step of the way. We will evaluate which supports you need, tailor our calls to your priorities and your specific situation, and can make changes along the way if things shift.  Going into pregnancy with a body that is nourished, rested, and not inflamed will make the actual pregnancy part so much easier. 

*This program is not testing dependent, though testing can be added to this program at regular Functional Medicine rates if we decide it is necessary and useful. The baseline program cost does not include any testing. 

Length: 6 months

Meetings & Ongoing Support

  • Initial Setup Call: One 60-minute onboarding session

  • Ongoing Meetings:

    • Bi-monthly calls during the first four months (45–60 minutes per session, inclusive of the initial setup call)

    • Monthly calls during months five and six (45–60 minutes per session)

    • Total meetings: Ten calls

  • Email Support:

    • Weekly email support, as needed, for questions and ongoing guidance

We will focus on preparing your body and home for pregnancy, improving nutrition and lifestyle to maximize chances for a successful conception or implantation, and make sure you are as healthy as possible when you get pregnant. Pieces evaluated and discussed will include:

  • Nutrition, optimizing for fertility

  • Exercise

  • Stress management

  • Sleep

  • Toxins 

  • Supplements

  • Cycle regulation if needed
