Meet Jill

A woman with curly blonde hair wearing a blue sleeveless top and black jeans sitting on a white woven outdoor chair on a balcony, smiling at the camera, with a wooden table and green plants in the foreground.

I’m a practitioner of acupuncture, Chinese Medicine, Functional Medicine and I’ve been working with people to improve their health for ten years. I’m a coach, I’m an accountability partner, and I’m constantly on your side to find answers and strategies that will help you feel your best.

I’m a mid-life woman who is laser focused on my own health, and if you’re my patient, I’m focused on yours too.

When I wrote my first bio ten years ago, I wrote that holistic practices and Chinese Medicine had healed my body, exhausted from 10 years of international development work, but that wasn’t really true.

I’m still a work in progress, health is a journey and not a destination. I have learned more in the last ten years, mostly from living THROUGH the changes that come with perimenopause, than I ever could have imagined.

I want to filter out the noise and get to the root cause of whatever is making you feel less than optimal. In my practice, we don’t major in the minors, we focus on the foundational practices to improve health and well-being.

Nutrition, stress management, sleep, movement are all key discussion points for us. But we can go deeper: hormones, gut health, macros, peptides, these are all topics covered in my practice.

My lived experience informs a lot of how I practice. If you’re a stressed out, Type A personality who is starting to notice that your body can’t stay ahead of your stress, I’ve got you covered. If you’re going through a mid-life change and want some comprehensive lifestyle support, I’m your gal. If you’re on a fertility journey, working on your gut health, managing pain or a chronic condition, come see me.

I have a Master’s in Traditional Oriental Medicine, am a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist, have done advanced training in Functional Medicine, nutrition coaching, macros coaching and in another life I also taught yoga and meditation.

In my personal life, I live in Washington DC where I spend my time lifting weights, reading books, trying new restaurants for gluten-free meals and planning my next trip. I live with my husband and cat, Dennis.
