COVID and Safety

We are in a new world, with new changes! To ensure your safety, Scarlet Oak Acupuncture has committed to the following safety protocols:

1. If patients are experiencing any symptoms of COVID or Upper Respiratory Infections such as a fever, cough, sneezing, loss of taste or smell, they should call their Primary Care Physician. Scarlet Oak Acupuncture is happy to see you as soon as your first negative test.

2. If you have had confirmed COVID infection, we would request that you test negative before booking any appointments.

3. Please come to your appointment alone if possible.

4. Your practitioner will be masked while treating you.

5. All hard and frequently touched surfaces in the office are wiped down between patients.

6. A HEPA Air Filter with UV light purification system is in place to keep the air clean and fresh.

7. Scarlet Oak Acupuncture is in a shared office space managed by another group. The management group has implemented increased cleaning of the common areas and bathrooms.

8. For new patients- please complete all new patient paperwork prior to coming in. As the office utilizes Electronic Health Records, you can always access your paperwork through the “manage my appointment” tab on your confirmation email.
